Carlee McGreevy – 2018/2019 Washington County Dairy Princess
Carlee McGreevy is the 17-year-old daughter of Lesa Boyer. She is an eleventh-grade honors student at Hartford Central School. She has been working afterschool milking cows on a dairy farm in Granville, New York, where her mother has also worked. Carlee is active in the FFA and an avid lover of animals. She aspires to attend college and major in Veterinary Technology then continue on to obtain a Bovine Veterinarian degree
Lauren DeSorbe – Alternate Dairy Princess
Lauren DeSorbe is the 16-year-old daughter of Rebecca and Anthony DeSorbe. She is currently a junior at Greenwich Central School. She leases dairy cows to show at the fair from the Foote Family Farm in Hartford, NY. Her other connection to the dairy industry is that her mother, Rebecca, is a Farm Loan Manager at the Farm Service Agency in Greenwich. Lauren is actively involved in FFA, 4-H, and Dairy Bowl. She is the president of the Future Business Leaders of America and is a member of the Greenwich Robotics team. She plays basketball and softball for the Greenwich Witches and plays on the Northeast Lightning travel softball team. Lauren aspires to attend Keuka College to major in Occupational Therapy.
Hannah Monroe – Alternate Dairy Princess
Hannah Monroe is the 16-year-old daughter of Krystal Monroe and Jonathon Monroe. She is currently a student at Hartford Central School. She shows cows from her grandfather’s farm in Hartford at the Washington County Fair. Hannah is actively involved in the Hartford FFA. She also runs cross-country and plays basketball for the Hartford Tanagers. She especially enjoys playing on the Hartford Elite AAU basketball team. Hannah has been a Washington County Dairy Ambassador for nearly nine years! Her future plans include attending college to major in nursing.
Rachael Hall – 2017/2018 Washington County Dairy Princess
Rachel is the 17-year-old daughter of Christopher and Kathy Hall of Greenwich. Rachel is an active participant in the Washington County Fair, 4-H, and National Honor Society. She is the captain of both her varsity and travel softball team. Rachel previously served as the Vice-President of the Greenwich FFA chapter. Her Dairy Judging team placed 1st in NYS and Rachel earned a silver ranking at the National FFA Convention this past fall. Rachel enjoys leasing Guernseys and showing them at the Washington County Fair. Rachel is also a first generation dairy goat farmer. She commonly volunteers her time by hosting softball clinics for the youth in our area, as well as at local animal shelters and homeless shelters. Rachel’s future plans include continuing her education at SUNY Cobleskill where she will major in animal science on the Pre-Vet track.
Kassidy Kuzmich – 2017/2018 1st Alternate Dairy Princess
Kassidy Kuzmich is the 17-year-old daughter of Brady and Kia Wolff of Argyle. Her family owns Thistle Do Farm, a small grass fed organic dairy farm. Kassidy is an active member of Greenwich’s FFA chapter and serves as the chapter Vice President. Last year Kassidy placed second in the NYS FFA Dairy judging contest and went on to compete nationally. During the summer Kassidy shows her registered Holsteins, but also volunteers at LIFTS, a summer program teaching kids about a program of their choice. Kassidy also waitresses at the Auction Barn Diner, and helps out in the office at Capital Tractor. She plans to attend Cobleskill and pursue a major in Agricultural Education.
Mackenzie Casey and Shania Danio – 2017/2018 Alternate Dairy Princesses
Mackenzie is the 17-year-old daughter of Bridget Beecher. Her grandparents, Barbara and Lawrence Beecher, own a dairy farm in Hartford. Mackenzie has been working on the farm since she was very young. She contributed to the farm by driving tractor, feeding calves, raking hay, wrapping haylage, and caring for calves and cows. She is active in the Hartford FFA where she serves as the chapter’s Historian. She was on the Parliamentary Procedure team where her team made it to state level competitions in 2016. Mackenzie spends her free time riding her horses. She will be a graduate from Hartford Central this year and will be attending SUNY Adirondack in the Fall, pursuing a degree in Agriculture Business.
Shania is the 17-year-old daughter of Sherrie Danio and Greg Danio. Shania is a 3 sports Varsity athlete at Greenwich Central School. She plays field hockey, softball, and cheerleading. Her field hockey team made it to the Class C Sectional Finals this past fall. She also participates in the Greenwich FFA Chapter. Shania spends her summers playing traveling softball and leasing and showing Guernseys at the Washington County Fair. Shania’s future plans include continuing her education in the Vet Science field and continuing to play either field hockey or softball in college.

Sara Stein – 2016/2017 Washington County Dairy Princess First Alternate
Sara is the 17-year-old daughter of Robert and Joanne Stein of Easton. Sara works at Riding Right Farm, which is a horse boarding and training facility. She is on the Riding Right Youth Dressage team where she competes regionally. Sara is very active in the Greenwich FFA Chapter where she was on the Parliamentary Procedure Team, Dairy Judging and Veterinary Science teams. Sara enjoys leasing Guernsey cows from the Footes where she showed at the Washington County Fair. Her future plans include attending SUNY, Cobleskill to major in Animal Science.
